    Why get a folding phone?

    • I sorta get the ones you can fold out into a tablet, but these I don't get: https://duet-cdn.vox…jagara

    • A friend just got one of those Samsung ones, he can PLAY GTA ON ITS EXTERNAL FOLDED SCREEN! [MIND BLOWN]

    • The screen is superb btw, no line/shadow/anything at the folding line

    • I dislike how big phones have got and can see it.
Also friend had on of the Samsung ones a while, is useful for taking photos too as you can just sit it up.

    • It was great, slight touch dead spot in the centre but after a year and a half the screen has gone quite glichy and hes gone back to his old iPhone.webazoot
    • < Those i kind of get. Just wondering how many folds it takes to break that screen.jagara
    • too bulky folded but recon they make more sense in Asia where more men carry bags? saying that the flip is marketed as a woman's phone in China and SKkingsteven
    • a friend has a flip and loves it, keeps it in her bag/ doesn't need a case. perpetual folds vs chipped and broken glass is a decent trade-offkingsteven
    • If a phone just gets thicker folded, it simply won’t work. Thinner the better for a pocket carrier.monospaced
    • Agreed, more of a female angle on these for now. I bet my wife would like this as she is incapable of locking her phone before tossing it in her bag.monospaced
    • ^ lol, just fix her lock timing settings without telling her. Or don't, because sometimes bagdials are pure comedy.garbage
    • Everything from impotent road rage to pondering about what fruits to buy. Adds a little spice to life.garbage
