Next month docs will do a prostate biopsy on my dad (79), it is very likely that it will be nothing, but he is very nervous now. Always been a strong, athletic man who has taken great care of himself.
I don't know if I'm not more terrified than him. I wouldn't like to close this year with that "kind of thing".
- Seeing things are inevitable after a certain age. Sounds like he's made the most of his life and it's in the best condition. Sending my best.palimpsest

- Don't let fear waste your time, it's too precious. And all the best to you and our dad.Longcopylover
- there's never a good time for that kind of thing. better check it early. goodluck.pango
- They probably will, BUT take it with a grain of salt. It's not a death sentence. Early onset prostate cancer is problematic, but that's in the 50s.garbage
- Pretty much any man that makes it to their 70s has prostate cancer, it's pretty inevitable. For your dad to make it to 79, he's a powerhouse.garbage
