I live in Colorado, and met my love in Oregon, but she lives in L.A.
The distance was OK because we were so attracted to each other. However, when you are feeling a connection so strong that you are willing to try long-d., it becomes very difficult to be apart. I bought 5 plane tickets in 4 months.
Luckily she is a freelance painter and she was able to move to Colorado after 4 months, temporarily, to see how things work. She is here now and it is going great... BUT, at some point very soon one of us has to make a move. I emotionally can't wait around. I want to be together.
My advice is only do it if you can be together within a 6 month period. Otherwise, you will torcher yourself if your truly crazy about her.
