Furloughed from my job during the pandemic. Worried about what could happen, I watched and read doom and gloom while massively diving into the bottle.

At the end, I was drinking 1.75L of vodka every 2 days.

June 1, 2020 I quit cold turkey. 3 years later, my liver gave me a high five when I woke up this morning. lol

    • Good work buddy. I've been there, but not with vodka. Hope the light is still shining bright for you thanks for sharing.Ianbolton

    • Thanks all :) Yeah, cold turkey was tough, got lucky no bad withdrawals besides a few sleepless nights. It was New Amsterdam vodka lol.Akagiyama
    • No real tips, I did it because I was going back to work and if I didn't stop I'd probably be dead in a few months and I had my dad to take care of.Akagiyama
    • A liver high-five is kinda stinky, wet and sloppy. So, like dating catpower.Akagiyama
    • Light still shining :) Next up, trying to un-fat my ass. Food is my next vice to tackle after quitting smoking and the bottle.Akagiyama
