It's more clear than ever that nothing will stick to Trump. I don't see a world where he isn't the 2024 nominee for the Republicans.

Question: how could his base ever be deterred from voting for him? The more I think about it, the more I think it will require fighting fire with fire – some outrageous conspiracy theory that convinces his base that he's actually been on the other side the whole time

    • He will lose again and, bigly!nbq
    • Sounds right. And it sounds like great subject matter on YouTube - asking his base what it would take.canoe
    • "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"

    • The only thing that would really hurt him is if Tucker completely turned. That would be fun.formed
    • I could see that world happening, if Trump gets hit with more charges and Republicans start to decide he's damaged goods.yuekit
    • A couple months ago DeSantis was briefly leading him the polls, so his base is willing to abandon him under certain circumstances.yuekit
    • I disagree with your premise. He's never been closer to being imprisoned for crimes. The status of being above the law is eroding very fast and ...CyBrainX
