Spain spends €258m to build trains too big for its tunnels.
Two travel bosses fired over engineering blunder as project to replace commuter trains goes back to the drawing board.

- We had the same blunder in Bucharest a few years back, introducing new wider trains and we cut the platforms by a few cms in some stations********
- I mean, cutting the platforms is one thing, cutting the tunnels to fit the new trains is obv a no-go in their case********
