    Prediction:

As AI grows in adoption and sophistication — there will come a point whereby the entire Internet becomes one giant AI.

Websites that code themselves, copywritten by themselves, illustrations design and photos all AI generated. Videos AI edited and narrated and AI generated. etc...

When the internet started it was a way to connect with humans around the world, share words, thoughts and images. But that will be no more.

As AI takes over the Internet, perhaps a 'original' internet evolves, a web-natural, with no AI elements allowed - but how would you police that to keep out AI words, images and videos?

Perhaps instead, we go back to the real world, connect locally with the people near to us, work in real world jobs that don't require a computer interface all day.

    • Internet is a prerequisite for AI. It couldn't have happened in the opposite order, say AI invented first, then internetdrgs
    • Loads of news sites already seem to scrape the internet and create nonsense content.
I think folk will still seek the human bits. I hope

    • Best journalism is on substack now anyway

But no, there's no "AI" capable of what you describe, yet or even in decades from now.

    • I can see this happening soon enough, unless there is some way to detect it, which I doubt.formed
    • AI won't kill humans like Terminator, but it will further spread misinformation, propaganda, and spread hate/fear. People will not know who/what to trust.formed
    • It already started with all the bots, but as it grows in sophistication it'll soon be videos, websites, etc., etc. Time to get that cabin in the mtns!formed
