It's time to put cancer warning labels on alcohol, experts say

No amount of alcohol is safe, says new report from Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction

    • I read that but we need to weigh our options. out of the billions of people that drink, 300,000 heavy drinkers per year will develop cancer_niko
    • but it also relieves stress, puts you in a good mood, makes you social, makes you want to hang out with friends, great for romance etc._niko
    • I think about this a lot lately since my dad got cancer though his was from smoking. I cut back to maybe 2-3 a week if that but I don't think I'll stop complete_niko

    • ya but what do the canadian know?pango
    • Either "no amount is safe" or "almost nobody will get cancer" can be true, not both.i_monk
    • in long term smokers, only 10% will develop lung cancer which is absolutely astonishing._niko
    • They estimate that there are 2.5 billion drinkers on earth and if 500,000 develop cancer then that is 0.02%_niko
    • As if there's any cunt on earth who thinks drinking is healthy. Maybe we should write on every knife 'be careful, it's sharp'Rendle
    • Yup I remember cunts were pushing 1 glass of wine a day is considered "healthy"pango
    • Smoke weed every day!YakuZoku
