pinch of salt; cut the public transport funds 5 billion and build more roads with it to make . no body takes it seriously.
Its a fact that sea levels are rising 7mm a year. its not much, but 20 years of it is... The thames barrier that protects london from flooding cannot cope with the increase and is going to have to be rebuilt 30 years earlier than expected.
Venice is going to build damns around its entire perimeter because in 20 years it wont be able to cope with the water rises.
Its not whacky theory. we have got serious problems waiting for us. But in the meatime we'll just carryon watchin tv, going to work...
