I've got a new Fuji camera on the way, the kit lens included is the 16-80mm F4 lens, I'm keen to pick up one more lens to fiddle with as well. I will be doing some family portrait stuff, but I also like to take shots when I'm out on the bike of street art, buildings, landscape etc.

Any suggestions on an extra lens so I can cover all these scenarios?

GxAce's video on the Viltrox 13mm 1.4 lens has me really interested, I love the wide angle low aperture look of those shots.

    • which model?_niko
    • I decided on the x-t5, pretty excited about getting it!BuddhaHat
    • something like a 35mm f2.8 would be good?

    • I would probably go longer for street and portrait photography. Maybe the fujinon 23mm f1.4 (36mm equiv) or fujinon 35mm f1.4 (56mm equiv).slappy
    • I use a fujinon 35mm f1.4 pretty much all the time for my family camera.slappy
    • Honestly just use the 16-80. It's really nice to have the extra reach sometimes. Or to go wide for a vista. carrying lenses is for the birds.monNom
    • Thanks for the tips everyone I'm gonna go with slappy's recommendation of 56mm equivalent and then go a wider lens after that.BuddhaHat
