On my walk to work I have to cross a rather busy intersection where trams, cars, bicycles and pedestrians have to get along on very little room.
Now and then I met a little boy on his way to kindergarten at the zebra crossing. We never talked or something but we both nodded to each other.
Today when I came to that intersection police was just closing off everything and there was a white tent at the zebra crossing.
I later read in the news that there was a boy killed by a car or tram, they don't even know yet.
It's probably this boy.
He was just 5 years old, the same age as my son.
This really cracks me up.
Please give all your loved ones a hug and take care. It can be over so quickly.- Sorry for the off topic, I somehow just had to get it off my chest.Longcopylover

- Well this just wiped the smile off my face. I hope it wasn't That Little Boy, but regardless, it was Someone's Little Boy.Nairn
- I wake up every night as the result of some 'micro-Dream' where I watch my daughter walk out in front of traffic before I wake up.
Fuck Cars.Nairn - dammit man! the roadways are so dangerous. Sorry for this kid. Icapn_ron

- Read about it in the news and now here.
It makes me mad to think the parents decided to send a 5 year old boy alone on that trip every day.uan - So sad to hear.SimonFFM
- That intersection is hard to cross as an adult, it's a hell of distractions and dangers from every angle.uan
