My new job starts a full 2 hours after my last one. But after year's of taking 7am morning meetings (meaning I need to wake up at least an hour before to be functional) I cannot sleep in.
I try so hard to stay up, even trying to not watch tv in bed which will sure-fire put me to sleep in minutes. Still totally passed out by 10 at the latest. How do I break this cycle? I don't even have to open my eyes until 8am now. But I find myself wide awake at 5am every goddamn day. Maybe coffee at night?
- just stay up later. maybe go out for dinner at 9pm, have some wine and coffee, dance till 1am..shapesalad
- yes, stay up until 2AM or do a reset like a full night and day up, until 6PM then sleep at 10PM and wake up 6-7AM next day********
- Sex. More of it :)monospaced
- Pull a 24h completely kick yourself out, no coffee after 12h, coke is alright, sometimes i smoke a cig or two to avoid caffeine but get that kick.********
- Get to bed at the time you think its ideal and you can get enough sleep (6-8h) and wake up at the time you would you like to in the next months/years :)********
- Maybe you could keep your schedule and find something good to do in the mornings.pusherbot
- No coffee after noon. We're all getting oldermisterhow
- Explore the dorvay concept. Go to sleep early, wake up at 1am, do shit. Go back to sleep and then wake up to start your day.stoplying
