    Resending a job offer acceptance

    Any way to do this gracefully?

    I was offered a new job via a recruiter. I interviewed a few times and received an offer, which I accepted and gave my standard two weeks notice.

    My current company counter-offered. The company has been in flux and restructuring lately, which seemed shaky to me. The counter-offer is nice mostly due to the long-term growth of my role and the team I can build around me.

    So now I have to let the other company know I no longer want their opportunity. I feel a bit like a dirtbag but putting in my notice forced an issue I needed to be resolved.

    • Last year I had a couple of jobs where i was interviewed 2 or 3 times, given tasks to do, even a IQ test thing... then zip, nada, days turned to weeks to monthsshapesalad
