Last week I buried my grandfather. RIP. He had a long life - turned 99 on October 1st. He had been through WW2.
If it wasn't for Covid, he might live to 100 and beyond. He is survived by his wife, my grandmother who will be 99 in March.

I realized that I had lived less than half of their age. I feel like I've been around and have done a lot already. But I might be through only half of my life if we avoid WW3, global warming or other epidemics.

Although I lead an active lifestyle, my cognitive abilities started to decline. However, I do not feel old and not ready to contribute to "Signs you are getting old" yet.

Lately, I have had this on my mind: What will I be doing for the second half of my life?

There is plenty of content to consume, and there will be more. Will I spend my time in front of a computer as boomers spend in front of a tv? Metaverse?

    • Sorry for your loss. But, we've been immersed in WW3 for a long time, you can take that off the listOBBTKN
