I don't use a case on my phone. I drop it occasionally. I'll catch it or on carpet at low level, never been a real problem for the last 5 years. My SE made it though just fine until the battery gave up. Now my SE2 has been good for the last 3ish years. Until yesterday. Forgot it was in my lap as I exited the vehicle. Picked it up from the garage floor, checked the corners and surprisingly very very little damage. Not enough to annoy me at all. No crack on the back or screen? Sweet. Oh wait, what's this? Hairline fracture down the center of the camera lens? That's cute. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • Does it affect the picture? I’ve used cameras with huge scratches on the lens and sometimes the light isn’t resolved onto the sensor

    • And you don't need step B unless you're actually replacing the lens... go w/step A and then this: https://www.youtube.…PonyBoy
    • I had to replace both the lens and lens cover on my old SE... I went to have a 15yr old kid at a mall kiosk do it—lil fucker wanted $80. DYI was easy.PonyBoy
    • hell yes. I figured that was easily replaced. It's just a single line through that little circular piece. perfect, thanks.imbecile
