People who talk to old people like they talk to kids. Condescendingly treating them like someone cute and fragile, not to be taken too seriously.
Sometimes their political views can be stale, and their knowledge of the world today can be limited. But unless they’re senile, treat them as what they are. Adults, who might have 2 to 3 times more experience than you. No matter how different you feel from them, the number of days spent on earth still matters.
