  A friend’s kid (13) in school has a teacher who was adamant that the sex of a person is non binary. When the kid asked if they meant gender rather than sex, she was immediately shut down with no room for discussion, which resulted in being alienated by some of the other kids in her class.

  I think this lack of willingness of teachers to approach the subject openly is from the fear of offending anyone or saying the wrong thing - brought on by woke groups with pages of guidelines on how to speak and behave. It’s awful. At least create an environment with room for discussion and education around it.
