    So Russia mobilized 150,000 troops for this war which is 10% of its overall army.

    I’m assuming this was the best 10%, so as the cream of the crop gets mowed down, they’ll be left with second and third and fourth rate soldiers and officers, generals etc to keep replacing them.

    • Estimates vary, but I’ve read there’s around 5 support/logistics personnel for each active fighter. If that’s the case, that 10% might be half the fighters.monNom
    • Which jives with the request for mercenaries from Syria, and the domestic rallies trying to drum up support. Also the 80:20 rule.monNom
