I'm already getting doomscrolling fatigue (again), so I haven't bothered to look this up, but ...
The US is an oil and gas-producing country. Why would it even bother importing the Russian stuff?
And just how much can the US possibly import that banning it would even make a shred of difference to the Russian economy?
