Imagine being skeptical of the science behind vaccines and at the same time being completely trusting of the science behind natural immunity.

Human beings have evolved an incredible ability to be idiots.

    • Obviously the vaccines have saved many lives.Chimp
    • But having known 2 people who have died from them I think people should be able to make an informed decision if they should take them and not forced.Chimp
    • Humans dont have a thirst for knowledge. Humans have a thirst for an explanation, but that explanation can be any simplified model like religion or conspiracydrgs
    • As we enter the end of this pandemic I feel a more nuanced approach is needed rather than shouting anti vax at anyone who questions what’s happening.Chimp
    • @drgs True, I think thats why it was best to go with a single simple message at the start when things were less predictable.Chimp
    • In smaller countries like mine, with 70% vaxxed populations, it is certain that vaccines save lives.maquito
    • Even during summer, with a big spike of new cases of omicron, less than 50 people have died during Jan.maquito
    • Yep totally, there is no doubt in that.Chimp
    • 12.800 new cases yesterday, with 8 deaths, 7 of which were unvaccinated.maquito
    • Re: forcing people to get vaxxed, It shouldn’t happen. In Uruguay it never was mandatory.maquito
    • Yep, it should be done through open conversation and education.Chimp
    • Forcing people to get vaxxed is crazy, especially those who have antibodies from natural infection.Chimp
    • The folk I know who've caught it have all had the jabs.

    • Why is it that people like you can’t get past the FACT that the vaccine was never meant to stop contraction of covid?monospaced
    • The reason most people who are getting covid now are vaccinated is because most people are vaccinated. They aren’t the ones dying. Why can’t you grasp this?monospaced
