    Oh, and "rebooting" movies. Tell the same story as the original, changed slightly with new characters, technically making it a sequel, but with weird muddy storytelling as a result.

    I'm looking at you, The Matrix Resurrections.

    Make up new shit, goddammit.

    Good storytelling has moved to TV, i guess.
