    Attempting to open a .png in the latest, "greatest" release of Adobe Photoshop:

    "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

    "OK" or "Learn How To Fix" are my options...

    • Open it in a browser, copy it and then create a new document and paste it in. I get that with the odd .jpg that it's slightly corrupt. Or need a restart.PhanLo
    • PS can't open files with improper extensions either. On macOS if you open an image with a wrong extension in Preview and save, it'll fix the filename.evilpeacock
    • change the extension from .png to .jpgshapesalad
