I've been thinking what I'm actually doing with these fantasplodge/fractal clouds because a lot of time I would just pick out the one which fits my narrative
A quote from Steve Jobs comes to mind: "Customers don't know what they want." When Apple asked some customers about what new device they would like to have, the customers had no answer, but if you gave them some options, they would happily choose one over the other and critique the rest.
To synthesize something completely new out of thin air is very difficult, but it is easier to judge if you are given some options. And so you have something called generative art, where an artist uses some kind of technology to create a series of random artworks and then uses his artistic taste to pick out the ones he likes.
Fantasplodges are something similar. You get a series of probable scenarios and then use your intuition to judge which one looks the most harmonious. (Some traders like https://twitter.com/NyuuRoe are able to stare at a blank chart for two hours, until they get a hunch, but I am not him.)
I've been staring at this for days -- I've got nothing, but anyway a bullish scenario is definitely possible
