    What would you choose?:

Very nice apartment in random but nice location. Not too inconvenient but nothing cool to walk to.

    OR

Small and boring but fine apartment in amazing location. Everything is close but apartment is lacking in size and character.

    • A house in a nice neighborhood, not far from an amazing location and things to walk to. With a yard and without shared wallsmonospaced

    • Depends on your social life. Late 30's option A, bellow that go with option B = amazing location

    • For families, the suburban boring life with an Applebee's or Cheesecake Factory every other mile is much more desirable.utopian

    • How old are you? If you are young you might want to be in the mix, if you are older you might like the nothingness.AQUTE
    • B - always easier to upgrade your apartment than the neighborhood.see_bee
    • B - a nice aparment still has other peeps behind every wall, I'd go for a more interesting location.MrT
    • House in the country and visits to the city. Everyone conquers a city and moves on.misterhow

    • Depends how much time you spend at home. Living closer to nice stuff will mean you actually leave the house moreProjectile

    • Amazing location is relative. While I assume yours is a city with lots of amenities, my amazing location would be in the mountains away from it all.section_014
    • Suburban life isn't necessarily boring, and doesn't necessarily include Applebee's or Cheesecake Factory. I would never go to either of those.monospaced
    • B. I had a studio in the West Village, NYC once. I was stupid and got married and left for a bigger apt. Got divorced 3 years later.CyBrainX
