I did that wee screengrab and text in illy, off canvas.
if i select it, it includes the ghost box in my main document artboard.

- As I say, if I close and re-open the file, the artefact is gone. It's just a PITA, and I have to either note-down or save out a laser profile when I reset.Nairn

- ghost box: try select all, then deselect, then select the thing you want again. Seems to work in my version of illustrator.monNom
