I love the series but saying it's the best Star Wars has done is an overstatement. The plotlines are very thin in comparison. The main character needs something. He runs into opposition and does them a favor in exchange for what he wants. It's a bit formulaic.
Also, making Star Wars with no discussion of the force or having Jedi is a handicap. Take the episode with Rosario Dawson. Didn't that one feel like a breath of fresh air in comparison to most episodes?

    • Isn’t supposed to be a Space Spaghetti Western?nb
    • It reminds me of MTV's Aeon Flux or Wylie Coyote and the Road Runner but better. It's less ambitious than a Star Wars film.CyBrainX
    • In all fairness...it's probably less ambitious than Star Wars because they have to produce dozens and dozens of shows. Quantity goes up...quality goes down!utopian
