We can only assume the mysterious owners of QBN are not terribly interested in attending to this community.

If you owned a forum and wanted to grow it as a design community forum you wouldn't allow the scuzzy porn threads. They're a total turn-off to almost everyone. Ew.

This forum is the biggest sausage party I've ever been to. Might as well be an incel forum. There are no female-identifying members posting on a regular basis. I'm not even sure there are more than 2 female members and they're inactive.

Do you think that's a coincidence?

Those of you arguing freedom of speech or censorship are totally missing the point. With such a complete lack of perspective outside your own, I actually find it hard to believe you're designers. Maybe you're not. Or maybe you're more artists and would make sucky designers.

Either way, I assume the owner(s) of QBN feel that either:

    a) censoring the porn threads would lose a few members and now that the QBN brand is basically "sausage-party design-ish forum for losers and deadbeats" they don't feel they can change that brand and win new users

    or

    b) they're juvenile and prefer to own a site with porn being a big part of it than a site that is inclusive and inviting to regular people (aka half the population, women)

    or

    c) they just don't really care at all

    • June will be interesting. The domain is currently flagging several client codes. The quiet might be for several reasons.garbage
    • The CRP flag is the most puzzling. We might have to find a new treehouse. I have no idea what legal mess the ghost gods are in.garbage
    • i assume the laydeez have better things to do than hang around on some half baked internet forum that only occasionally has anything to do with designhans_glib
