The apartment I was so excited about was rented out last week, saw it too late and big eye cat could only do so much. Thanks for the support guys!

Happy to spill the beans now, it was in an amazing private - very short but not closed - Paris street entirely designed by architect Mallet-Stevens in the late 1920s, and in one of the 2 buildings I love the most there.

Here's more info about it if you're into it :

And more pictures of the street in all its glory here.

Bit disappointed but not as much as I feared. Much worse would have been for it to be available and the agency to refuse my efforts to get it.
    The search continues!

    • On the plus side, you've probably saved yourself a small fortune in upkeep fees, assuming that building is listed, or whatever you have over there.Nairn
    • Yes it is protected, but rent was actually reasonable for what it was, hardly more than same size places a couple streets away.spl33nidoru
    • I think they were more interested in finding a quiet tenant mindful of the building's history rather than a cocky yuppie eager to splurge.spl33nidoru
    • Aaaah, I understood you wanted to a BUY a place there. Yeah, sure - as a tenant you'd be golden! :)Nairn
    • Ah sadly no! :) Anyone interested tho, the penthouse on this building is for sale!
