When I look at the dollar value of my Bitcoin balance, it's difficult to wrap my head around how much profit I made. It's so much, percentage-wise. I invested only a small amount of money, though, and actively traded for about a year until I got too busy. It's been sitting ever since.

Now, the money I made isn't life-changing at all. Not in the slightest. And I know (obviously) how it went from what it was to what it is today. But still, when I just think about it with my lizard brain, it's like HOW. THE. FUCK. The ROI is insane.

    • It's stupid to say "if only I....", but it's CRAZY to think that if only I had invested like $20,000 at the time... I'd never have to work again.

    • For perspective, enough to pay next month’s rent, could be life changing for millions of people in the US right now.imbecile

    • Oh absolutely, I'm not complaining AT ALL. It's just hard to wrap my (lizard) brain around how money works.

    • I bought @ $700, I'm honestly not sure what to do right now - I swore I'd just let it be fun-money till it broke into the 100k plus range.ben_
    • I bought it, let it sit and didn't do anything other than move to a different "bank" or whatever. to think what 5-10k would have returned. fuck.ben_
    • It's not that bitcoin has gone up. It's because $$$$ has gone down. In terms of VALUE.shapesalad
    • When Inflation hits... Bitcoin will go down to the price you bought it in Value terms. You know, when it costs $10000 for a beer.shapesalad
    • oh shape what? Lol okaymonospaced
