    A quick question to the SEO gurus...my brother is setting up a new venture. Their preferred domain name has been taken...but is available with one of the more exotic domain extensions.

    So instead of having whatever.com.au he's thinking of registering whatever.life or something along those lines.

    It's an Australan business...with only operations here. Will the domain extension negatively affect their search engine optimisation?

    • i only shared what I had found. I read those docs alot. I believe it means they tend to favor country specific, but will not penalize non-country specific tldsimbecile
    • if it were me, i would buy whatever[buzzword].c... to make it more country specific moving forward while simultaneously finding SM accounts to matchimbecile
