Over 10 years back now I was painting at a festival in Manchester, all the artists were out getting out the first night and there seemed to be a girl in a wedding dress with us, it was weird because we were all super scruffy she stood out in our crowd. We been to a few bars and all went our separate ways super drunk.
Next day the wall I was painting was by a dubstep soundsystem, I was really hungover and had to wear earplugs the whole day, to escape the bass I went into a small archway venue where Alina Orlova, the girl who'd been out with us in the fancy dress was playing the piano. I lucked out and caught her whole set, not sure if it was all the booze in my system at the time, but her voice brought me to tears, it was pretty magical.
Seems she got reasonably famous in Lithuania/Russia.
