Trump not showing up says so much about him. We've all met at least one sad sack like that. The guy who loses and knows that everybody is talking about him behind his back. He can't handle it.
He has zero real friends. His family loves him and a few scumbags pretend to be his friend because it helps them get what they need. How it must feel to have no real friends while also tying your entire self-worth to what other people think about you. Most likely he lives in a state of denial.
Anyway, when the time came to show up to watch the other guy get sworn in, Trump was simply too embarrassed to be there. He'd rather run away from the situation than sit there. It's not about his belief that he won. He knows he lost, that either way there's nothing left he can do to change it. He's not that stupid.
So instead he climbs on the government's airplane with his tail between his legs and only his family willing to show up to support him. Not even his entire family. In fact, really just his third wife and some of his children. Not all of them. His VP won't even go with him.
It just shows us Trump's true character which is better described as a lack of character.
What a loser.

- I imagine a lot of politicians and CEOs are lonely people who distract themselves with their wealth and business. No time to hang out and chill.bainbridge
