What is an ETH2 Stake Pool and should I be excited to join one?
(I'm not).
- There is a new version of Ethereum, ETH2, but for it to launch a certain amount of ETH has to be "staked". I dont know why, but you get 10-15% in interestsdrgs
- Is that a 'guaranteed' rate of return? I mean, assuming a lack of calamity? I might go all in, Bennn style and see if they'll accept a piffling donation/gambleNairn
- the problem, as i see it, is that going in on crypto as a gamble necessarily requires a punter to up their stakes all the time, otherwise they'll regretNairn
- ..losing on potential gains. in hindsight, obviously. it's a nasty cycle.Nairn
- I know someone who's 'recently' disccovered BTC and has been pulling real world investments to get in on the ladder at every relevant point.Nairn
- "All eggs in one basket" is a thought that comes to mind. On something that has no intrinsic value, nor is predictable in any meaningful sense.Nairn
