I am thinking about going to Bryce Canyon, Utah at the end of this month (Jan). I have been several times during summer, but I have never seen it with snow. I am born and raised in So Cal, so dealing with cold weather (highs in the 20s) will be a challenge. Have any of you been there in winter?
Any suggestions for dealing with cold weather?
I will be taking my son who is 11.- 2 or 3 layers of warm and waterproof clothes like thermal underwear, fleece sweater, rainproof jacket and trousers. gloves, cap, scarf, socks.uan
- sun protection for skin and eyes in case it's sunny.
have no idea about utah, but learned how to go to the alps ;-)uan - I camped there mid May with daytime temps in the high 80s. It was FREEZING! Suggest you stay at the lodge or get a room if you are going in winter.monNom
- Thanks for the tips. We got a room and are doing an out and back this weekend. The temps in the day will be 40 and the lows will be 10 or so. Enough...lemmy_k
