It seems the job market has shifted / is shifting,
As recently posted, I was let go from my position after our company sold off assets then shut down due to Covid.
Last year, opportunities appeared slim. Now, either due to budgets or possibly the vaccine, that tide appears to have changed.
Unexpectedly, I have been fielding interviews and offers for the last two weeks. I’ll likely be making my decision today regarding which path I plan to follow; whether that be a focus in marketing, branding, or packaging.
I only post this as I know I was not the only member to have lost their job, then began worrying the market had dried up, as career opportunities were few and far between.
I hope this can help add light to your search and encourage you to keep applying for positions you know you’re both capable of and truly interested in.
Good luck.
- It's true, money flows from one business to another. Be a generalist, keep on truckin'********
- nice changes in the packaging industry i would go with that and deep dive into the new thing.
marketing, branding meh, only if you need something stable :D******** - Packaging is what I’d prefer, just doing the cost / benefit comparison thing.imbecile
