The thing about these coronavirus conspiracy theories is, I feel like if it was true I would probably support it.

The people running the world made a virus that doesn't actually kill anyone as an excuse to force you to stay inside watching TV for a year while they transform the economy to deal with climate change?

Read some of the stuff being presented as terrible in an article like this...people will continue to work remotely forever, half of all work will be automated, we will get a basic income...also the world is run by socialists.

But of course that's not what's happening, in reality millions of people will die before this is over and there's no guarantee any significant reforms will ever come to pass.

    • i love a good conspiracy when it incites questioning. but you generally find folks will accept these covid theories because they must have an answer...kingsteven
    • ie. folks that wont ask questions for fear of appearing weak while simultaneously fear being wrong. if you shut them down it just strengthens their beliefs...kingsteven

    • aye, an old lad i meet while walking the dog was on about the great reset a few days ago. he believes covid is real, and deadly, and manufactured in a lab justkingsteven

    • Only plausible conspiracy I could buy into -- to suppress Hong Kong protestsdrgs
    • I could almost buy it as China's revenge for the trade war. It almost worked out too perfectly for them, Trump is gone and India their biggest potential rivalyuekit
