    Export PDF.

    Then it bloody starts to open Illustrator to open the PDF, which comes up in the little tiny antique preview select page dialogue, which you have to type page numbers into. FFS...

    I just wanted to export the PDF. Not be reminded of how antique Illustrator 2020 still is.

    • Uncheck “open after export” or whatever. And don’t make illustrator your default for PDFs. This never happens to me. Ever.monospaced
    • Use a default setting for starters.monospaced
    • I export PDFs from indesign several times a day sometimes. Never once has one opened auto in illustrator or any program unless specifically told to.monospaced
    • ^ Nobody in their right might would have Illustrator as their default choice for opening PDFs hahaIanbolton
    • My default pdf viewer is After Effects.nb
    • i installed bryce 3d just to open PDFsdoesnotexist
    • You should see what Cinema 4D does with PDFs. I got a 360 view of the interior of the Pentagon.CyBrainX
    • Listen to what Mono said. I can confirm all of those things. I've done it on Mac and Windows.CyBrainX
