Against my better judgement I bought the new mw (actually I preordered it), I’m all hyped to play and then bam. 20hrs worth of downloads before I get to do anything other than play 3 maps of bots.
Now that I’ve got the full game in front of me, I’m realizing just how bad I am at these twitchy FPS’s. I knew I wasn’t great at them but wanted something kind of mindless to get me through this fall and winter
Campaign is still downloading, as is warzone... any thoughts?
- Campaign is solid for some mindless, Michael Bay-ish entertainment. MP made me realize how sluggish I've become; but, I like to hop in time to time to unwind.duckseason
- Warzone is probably one of the more approachable Battle Royales. Was fun to hop in with some friends, but never my cup of tea. Its "Plunder" mode...duckseason
- ...is a nice compromise between the BR vibe and more traditional MP experience.duckseason
- This is all assuming you're referring to last years Modern Warfare, and not the new Black Ops: Cold War that just came out.duckseason
- PC or console?drgs
- Sorry Duck, I'm referring to the new one, Cold War, but your review of the last one seems to echo what I'm experiencing.ben_
- my bad, didn't even notice it was BO and not MWben_
- Console drgs. PS4 I can’t be bothered to keep up with pc stuff.ben_
