In a meeting. Just listened to 10 minutes of people fretting whether users will understand that "marks" (the new menu option) and "grades" (the old) are the same things. The assumption seems to be if they won't. So we have to use "grades / marks".

    • sounds like a regional selection issueimbecile
    • Can't you transition?
      Marks (Grades)
      Latter less highlighted?

    • Leave it for a couple of months, then delete latter.Nairn
    • Gosh, Nairn - so full of great ideas today, aren't you? Thanks for your input, buddy.

    • Another platform comes online next year and uses "marks" so yes "grades" will be phased out. Slowly. With videos explaining and reassuring.i_monk
    • referring to what? Grades as in grading from 1-10 or A to F or Marks as in marking like "let's mark this for deletion"

    • anyway for stuff like this some apps take 6 months instead of 6 weeks lol

    • So frustrating. Too many people in that meetingGnash
    • They're assuming correct. My GF is a teacher (USA) and she said her school would meltdown if they started using "marks". Why change it?section_014
    • if you pick marks over grades you're not an English native, not to mention going with both as a label, oh boy, stupid af
      ********
    • sorry i_monk, buddy you work with idiots, get out fast
      ********
    • I grew up with both used interchangeably. I guess I can't relate to someone who fails to see the word "grades" and freezes, unable to keep looking or learn.i_monk
