    How do I get more courage?

    I'm too flexible and accommodating with offers.

    I have a friend who always asks for raises and more time off and gets it.

    But I want to be nice and accept reasonable offers.

    How do I learn to be a jerk and always ask for more?

    In the past, asking for crazy amounts has gotten me no job. I'd rather take less than nothing.
