Gf and I just escorted a girl back home.
I spotted her being followed by a sleazy young guy slowly driving a scooter on the sidewalk a few meters behind her, and waiting as she entered a Chinese take-out.We walked in there, she confirmed he had talked dirty to her minutes before on the street, and she seemed relieved she wouldn't have to be confronted by him again.
That guy looked like nothing inherently threatening, random short chubby early 20s guy, harassing girls at night and possibly waiting for one to say the wrong thing or look the wrong way.
It's not much but enough to make me sad that this is a lot of girls' daily life.
