One of my neighbours, under 40, bought a used 911 Turbo S for around £90k.... he's been working from home, spending the summer jogging during the day, playing football video game in evening.

No idea what his job is, but fuck... some people are having no financial problems at all during covid and are confident enough to sell their fancy ass BMW's and upgrade to a 911...

Meanwhile I've been working all summer during the days, side projects evening + weekends, and all I've got is a 10 years old bicycle with a gaffer taped together rear mudguard.

    • London's NOT good for this - seeing some shithead 20-something in a £150k+ car blaring shit music and generally being a dickhead.Nairn

    • All I think is how much Good that sort of cash could do the genuinely needy. But instead, it's spent on utterly useless compensatory bling.Nairn
    • I mentioned recently I worked at a Rosthchild's house a while back. The guy had the shittest generic small Japanese car. Respect.Nairn
