I have one my parents used when I was a kid that my mom had before she met my dad. It has to be 40-50 years old by now.
I've had to re season it multiple times but it always shins up like brand new. However I would love to own one of these $180 Finex skillets.

    • no me gusto. aside from anything, surely a circular construction evens out the heat better? 'ssssurrrelllyyy?' lol also, the handle. nngyeh.Nairn
    • As a weapon though, definitely this.Nairn
    • the corners make it easier to pour out the grease and the handle is designed to be cool to the touch. The price is the only thing thats a no go for me.fooler
    • Sup with the edges? Also agreed about the handle. Those spirals heat up in the oven. so they're worthless.garbage
    • If you're not cooking with a hand towel on your person, you're not doing it right.garbage
    • The handle heating up is not the issue. It's that it looks like it won't provide the best grip.monospaced
    • I've used a similar one and they actually grip, but the heat protection is nil if you're taking it in and out of the oven. It's all looks.garbage
    • I have my Nana's WW2 era cast irons, and they are legit. Six decades of feeding the family in those bad boys.garbage
