    Does anyone know how to remedy string wobble? I have a Strat that recently had new pickups installed, and about a month ago the E & A strings are making a phasing/wobbling sound (when played while not being plugged in). My research has found that it's due to the pickups being too close but curious if anyone else has a take on it. Thanks in advance.

    • Strats are pretty notorious for unwanted modulation. But that's usually on the B and high E under the 10th fret. Could you just lower the pickups and check?section_014
    • Yeah I have a bit, but not sure how low I can go with them. Flush with the body?stoplying
    • Adjust PU height while plugged in. Keep adjusting the height until u find that sweet spot.ok_not_ok
