Most ads can be geo-targeted (such as Google Ads or similar platform). Usually you need an app to do Geo Fencing as the browser can only access the ISP / IP location rather than GPS coordinates. I've used Geo Fencing to push 'points of interest' notification in a tourism facility using a custom app but that requires the user to download the app and allow GPS access so it a bit invasive and needs to offer value to the end-user for them to agree.

    • That's a great application for geo fencing - like a guide of sorts, right?canoe
    • exactly, when you walk within the bounds of a point of interest, the app would send a push notificationspot13
