I'm going to dinner at my best friend's girlfriend's in the suburbs. He has been with her for a while now, and since they moved in together I don't see him much anymore. I don't get along with her much because of repeated bad impressions she's made on me (complaining about stuff, fighting with him in public, generally being a stick in the mud).
Got any ideas how I can go into this with an open mind and try to give her another chance?
- I'd suggest: Go into it with an open mind, and give her another chance.Nairn
- get drunk, get chill. get in the state where you wave your arms in the air like you don't care.pango
- Get over your own personal feelings about her... sounds like you witnessed he and her interacting like 'normal humans'. :) If that's too much for you—don't go.PonyBoy
- They don't drink!sarahfailin
- Drink before you get there. Drink on the way there. Party on the street with random strangers.pango

- Your friend chose her. His cross to carry. You won't change his mind. Maybe some ganja to help take the edge off..sea_sea
- Also maybe try to find common ground with her. If all else fails, spike the punch.sea_sea
