This whole tax story is actually really shocking.
It's not the fact he's a tax evader. It's not the fact he's an utterly incompetent businessman, whose operations are haemorrhaging money in huge puddles all over the floor. We all guessed this much long ago.
No, it's his motivations for staying in power, and it's everything he's said and done since announcing his candidacy in '15 to make it happen.
All of those damaged international alliances.
All of the climate change denialism.
All of the racism.
All of the lying.
All of the bending over for dictators like Putin, Erdogan & Co.
All of the nepotism, and enriching himself and his intellectually/morally deficient brood with taxpayers' money.
All of the Covid-19 deaths.
All of the conspiracy theories.
All of the rioting and violence.He managed to con 62,984,828 people in 2016 into putting him in power, and has been doing all of these things to keep that con going, in order to avoid having to face the legal music with his finances, *and* to avoid having to repay his creditors.
