The governor of Washington State, USA brought several box of apples from the orchard at the governor’s mansion to hand out to wildfire victims ... who happen to live in an apple maggot quarantine area. Apples from at least one box tested positive for apple maggot larvae, and not all of the apples have been tracked down which could spell disaster for the fruit orchards in the region.
