Weekend Rundown:
Removed 14 stitches from my hand; debrided the wound myself. The most painful shit I've ever done in my life, but going back to the hospital to have the stitches removed would have put me in a low-priority, possibly 7-hour wait in a COVID-19 waiting room. So fuck that.
The smoke hit us around Thursday, and is just now settling in. That's Molly (the bad one) sitting at the court on my block. Normally there's a view of the skyline, that spacey needle thing, and Queen Anne.
I forgot to get kimchi at the store, but the Hawks won, so I guess I broke even? Happy Monday to all.

- Eeekkk... But it's npt looking bad, fast recovery yo! And good luck with all this wildfire crazinessOBBTKN
- Thanks! I've been treating it like a baby in a burning, diseased hellscape . Infection is ironically not permitted on the Garbage Train.garbage
- Who's choice is the rug around the bottom of the toilet? I hope you're accurate..!Nairn
- lol I knew I would get grief about that. I'm a straight shooter, but not really a fan of the rugs. The floors are granite tile, so it is pretty slick.garbage
- Back in ancient times when people could.. you know, have parties and whatnot, those floors have taken out a handful of drunken guys and gals.garbage
- I was surprised to see them there tbh - I always figured they were a distinctly 70s-80s British thing :) But yes, I figured it was your gal's choice hahaNairn
- I did this too, remove stitches from my elbow (bmx accident) very very looong time ago. ;)i_was
- Ha, I've done the same. Rode BMX for about 15 years, and it's probably what jump-started my DIY medic status.garbage
- When I got this cut, my first thought was "Fuck, this is beyond a glue job."garbage
