    • should take the mid point between algo and teachers marks, and add 5%. would be fair enough.shapesalad
    • don't see why tests couldn't have happened. 50 students in a big hall, windows all open, fans keeping air flow.shapesalad
    • plus masks on everyone. could they not done that?shapesalad
    • if anyone needs testing it's the tory government, doubt they'd pass the 11+ ... the fucking idiotsBluejam
    • test what? what about the curriculum? Coursework? It's not just exams. No way you could re-jig it with no time and the schools closed.Fax_Benson
    • Unis are under-subscribed this year anyway due to the pandemic. Deferrals, fewer foreign students etc. Could have just gone with teacher assessment wks agoFax_Benson
    • and so what if a few kids scrape into uni with generous grades...Fax_Benson
    • Exactly fax.fadein11
    • Utter shitstorm for Uni admissions now though. Accepted many on courses that may be oversubscribed and now have to also take on those refused a few days ago.fadein11
